The highly anticipated West Coast Airshow is back! Mark your calendars for March 21-22, 2025, at Saldanha/Vredenburg Airport. This spectacular event promises thrilling aerial displays, and plenty of entertainment for aviation enthusiasts, adventure seekers, and attendees of all ages.

It’s a must-attend event for anyone who loves aviation and thrill-seeking adventures.”

What to Expect in 2025
To ensure a greater chance at more favourable weather conditions, the airshow has been moved from October to March, Cape Town’s most popular month for outdoor events.
- Friday, March 21st: On build-up day (Human Rights Day) gates open at 12pm. Watch validation flights for main event the following day. Activities include a Potjiekos Competition, a Drone Park, 4×4 demonstrations, a Kiddies Fun Park and RC Airplane displays.
- Saturday, March 22nd: Gates open at 6:00 am. The main event, starting at 9:00 am, features 20+ jaw-dropping aerial displays, including fast jets, solo and team flying, gliders, helicopters, skydiving, drone racing, Navy precision drills, and Rescue & CASEVAC demonstrations. During lunch break, meet your favourite pilots and explore their roaring flying machines up close! Capture those once in a lifetime memories.
- Visitors can enjoy a wide array of food and arts and craft vendors, exhibitors, a FunFair Park for children, Beer Garden & Gin Bar, 4×4 track and demonstrations and so much more on both days. Rough camping and glamping options are available on site for a full long weekend experience.
