OFF-THE-GRID CAMPING: LONG WEEKEND GETAWAY

Price: R400 per night – 4 people per site

Camping is available at our demarcated campsite close to the spectators’ area at R400 per night per site, max 4 people per site. Limited toilets will be available. Bring your own tent, bedding, chairs, torch, water, etc. NO FIRES! Please note that your camping ticket DOES NOT include an Airshow ticket. Airshow tickets need to be purchased separately.

Just rock up, find your spot, and set up camp. The campsite will operate on a first come first serve basis. BUT, there is more than enough space and you will easily find the right spot for your camp.

Terrain:

Please note that the terrain varies from sandy areas to patches of grass and short bushes. While no one got stuck last year thanks to our amazing team who did a great job at rolling the terrain, we recommend keeping this in mind when planning your stay.

Strict rules apply to the campsite!

– NO FIRES!
– No full ablution facilities available, only portable toilets provided by Sanitec
– There is no electricity at the campsite (off-the-grid)
– No running water
– Don’t litter. Bins will be provided
– and PLEASE no pets!!

Remember to pack:

Shelter: a tent and bedding. Your tent needs to be tied down for windy conditions. This is especially very important as flying tents can be a huge safety risk for the aircrafts.
Enough triangle-shape tent pegs for sand. Normal short pegs won’t work!
Camping lights / torches / headlamps / LED’s
Smokers should bring a portable ashtray.
Hats, sunscreen, lip balm, and sunglasses
Enough water per person per day or you can purchase water and other beverages from our vendors.
Protective clothing for wind and sun
Comfortable shoes

GLAMPING OPTION 1: VINYL DOME

VINYL DOMES x 8

Price: R11 450,00 for 16 people for three nights

Description:

This option is ideal for Group Bookings. With 8 domes under a stretch tent, this is a great option for a big family or group of friends. Price includes 2 x mattresses per dome, (bedding not included) and access to toilets and showers.

Please note this is a long weekend. Friday is a public holiday (Human Rights Day). Your tent will be ready from Thursday evening. It’s your choice when you want to move in for your long weekend getaway.

Price: R1 750 for three nights for 2 people

Description:

2 x Mattresses and bedding, access to toilets and showers included.

Group Option:

Price: R9 900 for three nights for 8 people

Four domes under stretch tent, includes 2 mattresses and bedding per dome, access to toilets and showers.

BELL TENT FOR 2:

Price: R3 000,00 for three nights

Description:

Standalone Bell tent, no stretch tent. Bell tent includes 2 mattresses (king bed), bedding, Moroccan carpet, lights, and electricity. Access to toilets and showers included.

Group Option:

Price: R8 900 for 3 nights for four people

Two Bell tents under a stretch tent. 2 Mattresses (king bed), bedding, Moroccan carpet, lights, and electricity per Bell tent. Access to toilets and showers included.
